Brené Brown said, “I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”
Connection fosters a sense of responsibility to ourselves, each other, and the broader community. Without connection, this sense of accountability can diminish, leading to a loss of shared purpose and values. Isolation and disconnection can have significant consequences, causing us to lose sight of our collective goals and the greater good.
Our values ignite our purpose but our purpose is meaningless without people to share it with.
